Ballet
Ballet classes are offered from Level I through Level VI. These classes are designed for the dancer at every level of experience and training. Stimulating level work will be done in technique, including barre, center, across the floor, and vocabulary. Training will include essentials of dance technique, while students build confidence and poise.
Tap
Tap classes are offered from Level I through Level VI. These classes are designed for the dancer at every level of experience and training. Various styles of tap are studied including Broadway, funk, street, and standard. Focus is placed on technique and vocabulary.
Jazz
Jazz classes are offered from Level III through Level VI. These classes are designed for the dancer at every level of experience and training. Various styles of jazz are studied including Broadway, hip hop, funk, and others.
Pointe
Pointe classes focus on ballet technique, including barre, center, and across the floor. Classical variations, turns and leaps are studied. Students must be at least 12 years old to begin pointe training.
Adult Dance
This class will consist of ballet/jazz or tap technique for the adult dancer. Students will learn fundamentals, conditioning/strengthening, and combinations in each of these areas.
Theatre Performance (Grades K-8)
Let’s put on a show! Students will learn acting and singing technique as they put together a fully realized production of a one act musical. Class will meet weekly and the final performances will be held at the end of the semester.
Musical Theatre Dance Grades 3-7 or Grades 8-12
This class will look at a variety of musical theatre techniques– tap, jazz, and ballet. The class is a combination of technique including across the floor, center, and vocabulary. Combinations (much like those in an actual musical theatre audition) will be taught each week.
Tumbling
These classes are designed to increase a child’s balance, strength, coordination in a fun environment while focusing on the tumblingskills. Beginner skills are very important as a foundation for the future. Skills achieved in this program may include Forward rolls, Backward Rolls, Cartwheels, Round offs, Handstands, and Bridges. Intermediate students build on the fundamentals developed in the beginner level class. Skills achieved in this class may include Walkovers, Handsprings, and Bridge walks. Advanced students will work towards skills such as aeriels and combination skills.
TinyTumble
This class exercises gross motor skills as well as working balnce and coordination. Designed for students ages 2-4.
Private Lessons
Private lessons are available in dance, tumbling, acro, voice, and acting with our instructors. Lessons are scheduled individually with each teacher.
